第一次注意到這系列其實是先注意到作者的另一套反烏托邦小說，
當時就有看到Study系列只是看出書年代久遠封面也不是特別出色就沒多加留意，
後來是最近在逛版權代理的網站時無意間發現這系列第一集Poison Study竟然有賣出中文版權，
就google了一下相關資訊，
這系列還挺了不起的，
原文三集分別在2004.2006.2008年就出版完畢，
後來開了一個續集系列Glass三集也是在2009-2010年就出版了，
結果我看作者網誌上又寫說她又和她的出版商簽了三本Study的合約，(2012.11.3的消息，還算蠻新的)
不過要2014.2015.2016才會出版，
可見這系列有多受歡迎。
(小聲說)我在網路上找到有人翻好的中文版，
不是大陸簡體的翻譯，是真的繁體中文的而且翻的品質還算不錯，還有校對什麼的，
其實沒有全翻完啦大概翻到第十九章，也不算少了，
不過我很懷疑這樣真的沒有版權問題嗎......

第一集劇情簡介：

第一集poison study的故事一開始就是被關在地牢的女主角Yelena正要接受死刑，
她是個孤兒，因為殺了收養她的將軍的兒子而被判刑(至於她為什麼要殺他就是這本書的主要劇情線之一啦~)
恰好司令官的試毒員死了，
他們國家的法律是下一個要被處死的犯人可以來接受這個職位，
所以女主角就很「幸運」的逃過一劫，
然後開始了她當試毒員的訓練生涯，
訓練她的刺客就是男主角Valek，
她要面對皇宮中的爾虞我詐以及想殺死她的南方術士，進而發現她自身身世和能力的秘密。
我只看到前半段，
不確定身世後半段會不會出現還是要第二集之後啦，
女主角本身有強大的魔法，
不過這種能力並不見容於Ixia，
所以第二集之後她就逃到南方的Sitia，就是術士的來源地也是她的家鄉。
第二集劇情簡介：

好想看這系列啊>"<
其實這種有點中古世紀的奇幻也很吸引我，
而且不會一直男女主角愛來愛去沒什麼劇情，
書中的愛情戲其實非常少(至少我看的前半段沒什麼)
這種被迫害但是卻不懦弱反而相當強悍的女主角啦、刺客啦、魔法的秘密身世等等都是超吸引我的小說元素啊
希望有出版社能出這套的中文版啦~
這系列還有續集系列Glass，
是設定在同樣的世界Ixia/Sitia，
不過主角換人當了，(我不確定換誰，在我看的前半段好像還沒出現)

這是美國YA版封面，一開始那個是成人版，不過YA版沒出第三集的不知道為什麼
作者FAQ中有寫說出版社正在考慮要出第三集的長春藤封面版但到現在都沒下文。
