之前在goodreads就注意到這系列，

它有入圍2012 Goodreads Choice Award的Best Paranormal Fantasy，

在vampirebookclub的Alpha Showdown 2013投票中，(應該算是選最強奇幻男主角吧)

Round 12: Curran vs. Reyes Farrow

這系列的男主角Reyes Farrow竟然擊敗了去年的冠軍──魔法傭兵系列的可倫，

在之後的回合Round 14: Adam Hauptman vs. Reyes Farrow又對上幻形者的亞當，

也還是以些微差距險勝，

在決勝局Final Round: Ryodan vs. Reyes Farrow [Alpha Showdown 2013]又對上黯夜法則的Ryodan，

中途廝殺得難分難捨，

投票期間有次上去看到時黯夜法則票數佔50.04%，

按一下重新整理票數The Charley Davidson Series又變50.15%，實在是太刺激了

雖然最後輸給了黯夜法則， 

但是票數比例也蠻接近了。

從他打敗可倫那次就相當好奇這系列是何方神聖，

上作者官網查才發現這系列前三集中文版權已經售出了，

將由春天出版社旗下的四季出版社出版，

超期待的啊

女主角是個私家偵探兼死神(？)，感覺就很吸引人的設定啊~
